What are green juices really good for?

Green juices or tea DO NOT BURN FAT!

Do you still believe that there are teas/shakes/drinks that lose weight? Did you know that no food has the ability to lose weight (or gain weight) on its own?

Lately many drinks are promoted as one of the main contributors to fat loss plans; However, it is not responsible to attribute slimming properties to any food, since losing weight is a consequence of a lifestyle.

At best, a green juice can be used as a source of vitamin A, C and potassium, but NOT as a magic pill that will solve all your weight problems.

It's also not going to fix your hormones, intestinal lining or your digestion. At best, it will provide you with some fiber and antioxidants.

On the other hand, the words associated with eating habits that tell us about 'purifying', 'cleaning', 'purging' or 'eliminating toxins' are empty and not very rigorous concepts.

Fortunately, we have organs like the kidneys or the liver that work to filter and maintain our body as it should.

A 'cleansing diet' is a concept that does not exist on a medical or physiological level.

So, it is necessary to know that losing weight depends on a lifestyle: exercising, having healthy habits and, MOSTLY, taking care of your diet (maintaining a caloric deficit). SPOT.

If you like green juices for their flavor, it is perfect to drink them, just keep in mind that they do not have magical or slimming properties and do not expect that when taking them.

Green juice is not a medicine either. If you have serious medical problems, seek serious medical attention. Stop thinking that there are magical, medicinal drinks or shortcuts. Worthwhile results take time and effort.
